Payments (PayPal)

Mountain Trail Designs, LLC utilizes "PayPal Invoice" as its preferred payment option. Widely used, PayPal is one of the web's most favorable, most trusted, and most easy-to-use payment methods. PayPal allows you to securely use your PayPal account, your credit card, or your bank account to make your purchase. PayPal uses SSL technology to keep your information safe. It is not necessary to be a PayPal member to pay with your credit card through PayPal. Mountain Trail Designs, LLC will not have access to your sensitive financial information when using this method. Shipping

Mountain Trail Designs, LLC ships with the United States Postal Service using "PRIORITY MAIL®" service. Priority Mail service offers 2-3 day service to most domestic destinations. Please allow additional shipping time to Alaska, Hawaii, and APO/FPO Addresses. USPS PRIORITY MAIL® service delivers to mailboxes, mail slots, and PO Boxes.

Most packages will ship within 24 - 48 hours from receipt of order, Monday through Friday. We do not ship on public holidays or weekends. Your custom orders are shipped from Kennesaw, Georgia, U.S.A. If you are an International Customer outside of the United States, please contact us for a shipping estimate.

Returns and Refunds

Mountain Trail Designs, LLC ("MTD") takes pride in our products and services. In the event that you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us for detailed instructions needed beyond those listed below:

Custom Work, including customized items and custom CNC services, are non-refundable due to the nature of the work involved. Acknowledgement of this condition shall be agreed upon by the client prior to the commencement of the work. If you are unsatisfied with the final product, please contact us directly to discuss any possible options and/or resolution.

Ergo Bike Racks Standard Inventory Products only:

  -  New purchases of Standard Inventory Products bought at our sister website Ergo Bike Racks must be returned / exchanged within 30 days upon you receiving the product. All returns, exchanges, and quality claims must include a copy of your invoice or packing slip.

  -  For an order where an exchange or refund is desired, and NO ERROR is on the behalf of Mountain Trail Designs, LLC, the product may be returned provided that the item is still in new condition. Since no error was made by MTD, the original shipping charges are not refundable. And, the cost to ship the item back to us is not refundable either. Sorry about that; and, we appreciate your understanding.

  -  For an order/shipment that includes an ERROR on the behalf of Mountain Trail Designs, LLC (wrong color, wrong size, wrong item, etc.), the original shipping charge and the price of the product is fully refundable, upon MTD receiving the product back. Please contact Mountain Trail Designs, LLC to get specific instructions for returning the product as we would like to cover those charges too. If you do not contact us and allow us to pre-pay the return shipping, we cannot guarantee a return shipping refund.

  -  For returns/refunds that do not require an exchange: You will receive a refund for the item's purchase price promptly upon MTD receiving the item.

Returns and Exchanges

For returns where an exchange is desired on a Standard Inventory Item (Custom Work and/or Custom Items are not eligible for refund or exchange), the process can be handle in two ways:

1) Send the original item back to MTD for refund processing, AND purchase the desired replacement item (along with its shipping charge). This is the fastest option since your replacement item can already be on its way while you return the original item.

2) Send the original item back to MTD, along with a request for an exchange. Once MTD receives the original item, MTD will bill (invoice) you for the cost of shipping the replacement item. Upon MTD receiving payment for the shipping charges, your item will be released for delivery.
